Knowledgebase: Shared IPs
I had another account which I never activated before I created this one. Could this be the cause of the shared IP?

Accounts which were never activated don't count for the shared IP issues. If they were never activated it's the same as they never existed, so if you received a shared IP warning, this is not causing the problem.
